About Our Group

Woodlands Scout Group was started with a public meeting early 2003.

For the first 5 years we met at the Community Centre on Veales Road, Deeragun. When the Community Centre relocated we raised funds to build our current Den located at Broadmeadows Park on Maxwell Drive in Jensen.

Our group has nearly outgrown our present den, and we are starting construction on a new den at the other end of Broadmeadows Park facing Geaney Lane.

We are currently in a growth phase with around 55 Youth Members and are looking for additional Scouts Leaders.

Scouts provides a fantastic program of FUN and life skills training.

We conduct regular camps and other outdoor activities on weekends as well as observing Anzac and Remembrance Days.
